Styched, a Fashion Label, Acquires Indian Sneaker Brand Flatheads

Online fashion site Styched has made its foray into the footwear market with the acquisition of startup sneaker brand Flatheads.

As reported by Entrepreneur India, Styched’s acquisition of Flatheads, known for its co-founder Ganesh Balakrishnan’s appearance on “Shark Tank India” season two, marks an exciting milestone for both brands.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Balakrishnan said, “The Flatheads-Styched deal gives us an opportunity to create unique footwear for the young Indian audience. Styched has revolutionized fashion creation and delivery, and I am thrilled to embark on this journey together. Sneakers are emerging as a fashion and lifestyle statement among young Indians, and it will be an exciting experience to witness Flatheads play a pivotal role in shaping and growing this market.”

Flatheads specializes in comfortable sneakers, featuring lightweight uppers made from materials like canvas and knit polyester fabric, paired with plush foam soles. The brand’s popular SoftKnit, KoolTex, Banana, and Linen sneakers are currently sold out, but their new knit Ellipsis sneakers are available in three colorways on their website, with five colorways of their knit Luft sneakers available on Zappos.

Entrepreneur India reports that the collaboration with Styched will enable Flatheads to leverage demand-based production and expand its product range. Styched will also provide support in managing various departments of the brand.
