Direction of Use
- Surface Preparation: Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and free of contaminants like oil, grease, and dust. Clean surfaces with solvent if necessary.
- Application: Apply adhesive using suitable wheel applicators or manual edgebanding machines. Maintain an application temperature between 140°C and 160°C.
- Bonding: Apply adhesive to the more difficult-to-bond surface first. Adjust temperature to regulate viscosity, delivery rate, pot life, and open time.
- Adhesive Optimization: Follow manufacturer guidelines to minimize thermal degradation and ensure optimal performance. Avoid exceeding 200°C and regularly check thermostats.
Precautions
- Avoid Contact: Once melted, the adhesive can cause severe burns. Avoid skin contact with hot adhesive.
- First Aid: If hot adhesive contacts the skin, flush the area with cold water and seek medical attention. Do not attempt to remove the solidified adhesive.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry location with the container tightly closed. Ensure a shelf life of at least 12 months.
- Operational Safety: Follow proper safety guidelines and refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for detailed safety information.
